As a Transaction Tax Manager, you will be responsible for helping clients understand and address the tax implications of strategically important transactions. Your primary focus will be on acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, restructurings, or initial public offerings.

This role involves managing and participating in the successful delivery of transaction tax engagements, assisting senior managers with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and building client relationships.

You will work closely with a team of Transaction Tax professionals across the MENA region and globally to ensure that technical excellence and the highest levels of client service are provided.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders
  • Contributing to building and maintaining key client relationships through exceptional client service
  • Collaborating with a multi-jurisdictional/disciplinary team within tax and across other service lines
  • Assisting with the development of more junior staff through coaching, delegation, and on-the-job training

You must have a Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Economics, Accounting, or Finance, and an approved professional qualification or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years of relevant Tax experience is also required.

Additionally, you should have broad exposure to transaction tax, strong managerial, organisational, project management, and analytical skills, as well as strong written and verbal English language skills.
