Deputy Chief Manager, Bills Payable/Payroll Job Summary:

Job Description:
  • Supervise the validation, monitoring, clearing and approval of invoices for new service connections, new town bills, contract labor payments for maintenance of distribution (underground and overhead leak survey bills), janitorial bills, S.P.O (service contract purchase order bills) in all four regions of Upper and Lower Sindh.
  • Perform recalculation of payment vouchers, including calculation of sales tax, WHT, liquidated damages (LD), and other deductions or adjustments.
  • Supervise the process of approved invoices for all medical bills related to retainer doctors, chemists, hospitals, and laboratories in all four regions.
  • Monitor and record medical reimbursements and deductions from salaries of executive and staff in Upper and Lower Sindh.
  • Supervise scrutinizing/validation/monitoring/adjusting of cash imprest advance against approved imprest limits in all zones and sub-zones of all four regions of Lower and Upper Sindh.
  • Supervise processing/validation/monitoring/adjusting of approved invoices for road restoration against approved budgets.
  • Supervise processing/validation/monitoring/adjusting of approved invoices for rent of rented premises in zone and sub-zones of all four regions of Upper and Lower Sindh.
  • Supervise processing of approved invoices for transport bills of petrol, diesel, and CNG, and bills of repair and maintenance of vehicles in all four regions.
  • Scrutinize all petrol/diesel/CNG rates from Ogra website.
  • Monitor and prepare MIS on a monthly basis for GST, WHT, and SST, and send it to HO's Tax Section for further action.
  • Supervise all payroll-related activities being performed in Hyderabad.
  • Act as signatory for SSGC and fund section cheques.
  • Handle queries to internal, external, and government audit paras.
  • Handle queries of respective employees' parties and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with senior management, regional managers, heads of different departments, payroll, provident funds, cash, and bank sections to resolve issues relating to approved budgets and payments to parties and employees in all four regions.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned by supervisors.
