Cloud Security Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Manager to oversee the security posture of our cloud infrastructure. This role will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, ensuring timely escalation and responsiveness, and driving initiatives forward without direct control over staff.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms, security certification, and experience working with CSPM platforms. They will also possess excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires the ability to build a framework and drive development through dynamic business intelligence tools and dashboards. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an international media company with a strong focus on risk-based business impact approach to cybersecurity.

  • Manage Cloud Security Posture: Oversee the administration, configuration, and optimization of cloud security platforms to continuously monitor cloud security posture.
  • Ensure Security Best Practices: Collaborate with the rest of the cloud security organization to enforce security best practices across cloud environments.
  • Act as Primary Contact: Serve as primary contact for cloud platform-related issues and effectively integrate cloud security strategy using CSPM platforms.
  • Build Data Integration Pipelines: Build and support data integration pipelines from CSPM platforms to downstream systems such as Brinqa, Splunk, etc.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Lead and manage cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and expectations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor Project Progress: Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any obstacles or delays, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Promote Positive Team Culture: Promote a positive team culture, ensuring that team members feel valued, motivated, and engaged in their work.
