Merchandising Coordinator

Assistant Merchandiser Role Summary:

This role is an opportunity to work closely with the senior merchandising team to drive product merchandising activities, ensuring seamless inventory management and optimal sales performance.

The Assistant Merchandiser will be responsible for processing invoices and shipments accurately, maintaining stock levels, and forecasting order quantities based on stock levels and sales data. They will also develop pricing and merchandising strategies to meet sales targets and collaborate with sales coordinators to identify new opportunities and improvements.

In addition, the successful candidate will assist in developing merchandising ideas for business growth based on industry trends, market analysis, and competitor markets. They will also coordinate with the merchandising team to develop seasonal products and ensure timely resolution of merchandising, purchase order, and production issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and monitor invoices and shipments accurately
• Maintain and monitor stock levels and movements
• Forecast order quantities based on stock level and sales information
• Develop pricing and merchandising strategy to meet sales target
• Manage merchandising calendar to meet deadlines
• Develop merchandising guidelines and reference documents for team members
• Prepare samples and perform sample testing and reporting
• Assist in developing merchandising ideas for business growth based on industry trends, market analysis, and competitor markets
• Work with sales coordinators to identify new opportunities and improvements
• Identify and resolve merchandising, purchase order, and production issues in a timely fashion
• Coordinate with merchandiser to develop seasonal products
