Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

A highly skilled Accountant is required to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, accounts payable and receivable, and bank statements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with 2-4 years of experience in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  2. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  3. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly.
  4. Monitor compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  5. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  6. Prepare tax returns and ensure timely payment of taxes.
  7. Conduct internal audits and support external auditors during audits.
  8. Handle payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
  9. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  10. Provide support to management with financial decision-making and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an accountant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
