Financial Controller

The Financial Controller is a key position responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strategic financial planning, and efficient financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and oversee the production of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Planning: Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyse costs related to projects, including materials, labour, and overhead. Implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Financial Insights: Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks associated with business operations.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in the development of long-term business strategies and financial goals.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
  • Working Capital Management: Optimise working capital by managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory levels.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Financial Systems: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software.
