The role of a Financial Data Clerk is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This position involves entering, verifying, and maintaining financial data in accounting systems, processing invoices and receipts, and reconciling bank statements.
This position requires a strong background in accounting, excellent written English skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Entering and verifying financial data with high accuracy
- Processing financial transactions in compliance with company policies
- Assisting in reconciling bank statements and financial records
- Maintaining and updating financial databases
- Preparing reports and financial statements as required
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and at least 6 months to 1 year prior experience in data entry, accounting, or finance.
