About the role of General Manager Drilling Operations

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for leading drilling operations, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have 16 years of experience in drilling operations, including 7 years in management roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and supervise all drilling activities.
  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams across well engineering, drilling operations, and project execution.
  • Lead the development of operational and capital budgets.
  • Define and track departmental KPIs to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams.
  • Built a strong HSEQ culture and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The selected candidate will be offered a 3-year contract employment extendable by mutual consent, with market-based salary and other benefits commensurate with experience and Company policy.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in drilling and well engineering, proven leadership in managing large-scale drilling operations, and solid financial acumen.
