  • Tutoring and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to students, overseeing their projects, field trips, and placements.
  • Lecturing and Curriculum Development: Teach assigned courses, utilizing innovative strategies to facilitate experiential learning and ensuring student success.
Key Responsibilities

The role requires strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and effective time management.

  • Teaching and Assessment Strategies: Implement various teaching methods to engage students and promote academic achievement.
  • Student Supervision and Support: Offer mentorship and supervision to students, helping them achieve their academic goals.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance for internal evaluation and assessment purposes.
  • Software Management and Data Maintenance: Update data in VLE and other required software as needed.
  • Ethics and Values Integration: Embed Islamic and ethical values into teaching practices and participate in departmental committees as required.
  • Research and Development Opportunities: Seek practical applications of research findings and contribute to publications or disseminate research using appropriate media.
Leadership and Research Expectations

As an academic leader, you will be responsible for supervising research teams and projects, and acting as a PhD supervisor when necessary.

  • Line Management and Leadership: Oversee the work of others in research teams and projects, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Research Initiative and Project Management: Lead independent research projects, act as principal investigator, and manage project timelines.
  • Duty Assignments and Additional Responsibilities: Perform any additional duties assigned by senior management.
