Business Tax Advisory Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Tax Advisory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our tax advisory team, you will play a critical role in helping businesses navigate complex tax landscapes and develop effective tax strategies.

About the Role

The Business Tax Advisory Manager will be responsible for leading high-level management and successful delivery of technically complex consulting projects. You will establish, maintain, and strengthen valued internal and external relationships, ensuring that services delivered to clients meet the highest quality standards.

You will also be responsible for day-to-day management of client engagements, monitoring progress and deliverables, implementing standardized processes, anticipating and identifying risks, escalating issues as necessary, and driving performance-improvement solutions. Additionally, you will assist in generating new business opportunities and building client networks to grow our BTA client base in the region.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and motivating high-performing teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Building a positive learning culture by coaching and counseling junior team members to help them develop.
  • Managing engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders.
  • E nsuring adherence to our Tax Quality guidelines.

To qualify for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, law, taxation, or any related field. An MBA, Masters, LLM, or other advanced degree and/or professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent qualification are highly desirable.

A very strong knowledge and experience of over 5 years in Corporate Tax, ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment, is required. A strong track record of managerial, organizational, and project management experience is essential.
