A seasoned professional with at least 08 years of experience in Oil and Gas, Fertilizer or Process Industry seeks a challenging role as Senior Technical Officer - Metering & Calibration. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing metering and calibration operations.

  • Well-versed in the sizing, selection, operation, maintenance, and calibration of instruments used in process plants, including oil & gas, power, fertilizer, etc.
  • Good knowledge of calibration equipment used in process industries, including fertilizer, power, oil, etc.
  • Knowledge of electronic measurement devices and their repair/maintenance/trouble shooting.
  • Familiarization with international standards related to gas measurement will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS-Office.
  • Strong technical and managerial skills to arrange and perform day-to-day activities.
  • Ability to guide subordinates to control and monitor ongoing jobs.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills to arrange for the execution of jobs with allocated resources within time as per SOP.

  • Accurate measurement of gas volumes delivered to distribution through SMSs on transmission networks and POD check meters for comparison purposes.
  • Arrange for joint meter checks at SMSs with distribution to ensure accurate measurement of gas.
  • Arrange for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of meters, EVCs, and flow computers.
  • Installation and commissioning of metering equipment at SMSs, CTs, and POD check meters.
  • Monthly data download from SMSs on entire transmission networks, review, compilation, and delivery to the transmission billing section.
  • Gas volumes purchased from all gas producers and preparation of POD and check meters monthly reconciliation reports for audit review.
  • Monitoring of metering equipment data and its analysis to confirm accuracy and reliability.
  • Preparation of technical specifications, technical evaluation reports, and inspection of equipment/spares received.
