Video Editor

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in video editing, a strong understanding of animation techniques, and the ability to transform scripts into compelling video content.

  1. Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product according to provided scripts.
  2. Create engaging animations that enhance storytelling and explain complex concepts.
  3. Collaborate with the content team to develop and execute video concepts and styles.
  4. Ensure the final videos are optimized for YouTube, including appropriate formatting and SEO practices.
  5. Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and animation to ensure our content is fresh and innovative.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  1. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
  2. Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects software like After Effects, Blender, or similar (preferred).
  3. Understanding of video compression techniques and optimization for YouTube's platform.
  4. Ability to work with different file formats, codecs, and resolutions (4K, HD, etc.).

Creative Skills:

  1. Strong storytelling skills and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, compelling content.
  2. Understanding of pacing, music synchronization, and audio balancing.
  3. Ability to create attention-grabbing thumbnails, intros, and outros.
  4. Familiarity with modern YouTube trends and audience preferences.

YouTube Knowledge:

  1. In-depth understanding of YouTube's video algorithms, SEO, and best practices for video uploads.
  2. Ability to craft metadata (titles, tags, and descriptions) to maximize video discoverability.
  3. Knowledge of YouTube copyright policies, community guidelines, and monetization strategies.
