We are seeking a highly skilled Civil/Solar Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in material quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, tender submission and evaluation, subcontractor management, and team leadership.

  • Responsibilities include working and collaborating with a UK-based firm, performing material quantity takeoffs and cost estimation, managing tenders, overseeing subcontractors, providing administrative support, leading a team of engineers and construction workers, coordinating project execution from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately calculate material quantities and associated costs for various civil engineering projects.
  • Prepare, submit, and evaluate tenders to ensure competitive and compliant bids.
  • Oversee and manage subcontractors to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and construction workers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution from inception to completion.

Job Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Planswift, MS Office, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in drafting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and software.
