Retail Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement operational policies, procedures, and supporting documents for all operations sub-domains.
  • Select vendors based on established criteria and ensure procurement from qualified suppliers.
  • Manage purchases of all items by coordinating with the Head Purchaser and receiving demands from In-charge Retail Operations.
  • Develop annual purchase budgets and approve payments.
  • Set prices for purchased items based on sales targets and input from the Head Purchaser and In-charge Retail Operations.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels through an Inventory Management System.
  • Design floor layouts as needed.
  • Ensure smooth retail operations by establishing discipline, planning visual merchandising, executing seasonal promotions, and announcing special discounts.
  • Analyze sales figures, forecast future sales, and define monthly sales targets.
  • Take action based on sales performance or lack thereof.
  • Foster partnerships with various brands.
  • Perform mystery shopping and take corrective action based on reports.
  • Address audit findings and investigate shortages.
  • Conduct bi-weekly meetings with divisional In-charges for communication and coordination.
  • Visit other retail establishments to observe best practices and implement improvements.
  • Manage staff issues, including hiring, firing, leaves, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Perform quarterly performance appraisals with the support of the HR Department.
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by Top Management.
