Financial professionals play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This involves strong analytical skills, in-depth accounting knowledge, and a proactive approach to improving processes.

">Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, identifying trends and anomalies that impact business decisions.

  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.

  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Evaluate and implement internal controls to maintain compliance with GAAP and company policies.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing historical and trend analysis to inform business decisions.

  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and assist with audit preparation to ensure a smooth process.

  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries, ensuring accurate tracking of assets.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve financial issues and ensure data integrity.

  • Review and improve accounting procedures and systems for efficiency and accuracy, recommending changes as needed.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements for this position include:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on financial analysis and management.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

  • Proficiency in Intuit Enterprise accounting software and other relevant tools.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Prior experience with ERP systems, US Taxation, and mid-to-large-sized corporations is preferred.
