Job Title: Translator for SUN Manual

We are seeking a highly skilled translator to translate an English training manual into Urdu. This manual will be used by teachers in Urdu-speaking regions for the deaf and blind.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Translate the English training manual into Urdu, ensuring accuracy and clarity in the translation.
  2. Collaborate with our project team as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both English and Urdu.
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Access to a computer and the internet.
  • Ability to commit approximately 10 to 12 hours of service per week.

This is a remote volunteer ministry opportunity that may take several months to complete. Using your language skills, you can help bring the Gospel to the blind and deaf.

About the Project:

We are working on Bible translation projects for deaf and blind individuals worldwide, using Symbolic Universal Notation (SUN), a symbol-based writing system giving immediate access to Scripture.
