We are seeking a highly skilled PHP developer to join our team of professionals.

The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and developing applications utilizing standard development tools, contributing to increasing existing data services API by leveraging backend data services, and leading the entire web application development life cycle from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and develop all applications using standard development tools and software solutions.
  2. Enhance existing data services API by leveraging backend data services and integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system.
  3. Lead the web application development life cycle, including concept stage, delivery, and post-launch support, ensuring scalability and maintenance of the codebase.
  4. Refactor, optimize, and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale, implementing test-driven development and acceptance tests.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
  6. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, and technical issues.
  7. Document the development process, architecture, and standard components to ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  8. Act as a liaison between development staff and project manager, keeping them informed of development efforts and progress.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Prior experience as a PHP developer, 1-2 years minimum, with a strong understanding of PHP limitations and workarounds.
  2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar relevant field.
  3. Familiarity with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
  4. Proficiency with PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Zend, etc.) and relational database skills with MySQL.
  5. Experience building RESTful JSON web services and APIs, such as Twitter, Facebook, Google Maps, Instagram, etc.
  6. Familiarity with responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap.
