Job Description

A progressive university invites applications from highly competent professionals for teaching positions at the School of Allied Health Sciences.

Available Positions:
  • Lecturer: First-class MS/MPhil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in a relevant field from a recognized university with no third division in the academic career. This condition may not apply if the candidate holds a higher degree such as a PhD or equivalent degree with no more than one third division throughout their academic career.
  • Assistant Professor: Ph.D. in a relevant field from a recognized university.
  • Associate Professor: Ph.D. in a relevant field from a recognized university.
  • Professor: Minimum qualification: Ph.D. from a recognized institution in a relevant field.
Experience Requirements:

For Lecturer: 10 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized university or a postgraduate institution, or professional experience in a relevant field in a national or international organization. Alternatively, 5 years of post-Ph.D. teaching or research experience in a recognized university or a postgraduate institution, or professional experience in a relevant field in a national or international organization.

For Assistant/Associate Professor: 15 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized university or a postgraduate institution, or professional experience in a relevant field in a national or international organization. Alternatively, 10 years of post-Ph.D. teaching or research experience in a recognized university, a postgraduate institution, or professional experience in a relevant field in a national or international organization.

Minimum Number of Publications:

For Lecturer: The applicant must have 10 research publications, including at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in recognized journals.

For Professor: The applicant must have 15 research publications, including at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in recognized journals.

Courses:

Teaching opportunities are available for various courses, including anatomy, biochemistry, molecular biology, biostatistics, medical physics, obstetrics and gynecological physical therapy, and other relevant specializations.
