Job Title: Legal Support Professional

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the research programs managed by the Office of Research, focusing on legal aspects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Draft and review agreements with external stakeholders, including Sponsorship Agreements, Grant Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs), Confidentiality Agreements, and Consultancy Agreements.
    • Manage the Contracts' approval process effectively.
    • Coordinate with the Intellectual Property Office for IP-related matters.
    • Maintain sound knowledge of legalities, particularly in legal drafting and research.
    • Organize and manage IP-related events such as workshops and seminars.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with legal frameworks and principles.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Achievement of LLB or equivalent qualifications is mandatory.
  • Desirable Experience:
    • Post-qualification experience of 1-2 years in a relevant field is preferred.
