Senior Automation Consultant

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Automation Consultant. In this role, you will design and maintain automation frameworks, automate API testing based on project needs, integrate the automation suite into the CI pipeline, execute automation scripts on containerized environments, handle client and team interactions regarding the deliverables of the automation project, guide the team to resolve technical challenges faced during the project, proactively learn workflows and new technologies, support the development of test scripts to test the built application, undertake SIT execution and defect retests, manage defects and provide feedback to the development team, ensure all system failures are recorded as defects and clearly understood, follow best practice testing procedures and processes to employ the most effective tools and techniques, understand UAT work stream client/stakeholders' requirements and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction, assist with test planning and regular progress reporting, produce the test schedule and ensure work is carried out according to it and quality standards, provide clear, concise, and accurate reports to stakeholders, attend defect triage meetings with key parties, and support Analysts and Team Leads during due diligence reviews outside of UAT periods.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium Java, automating API testing based on project needs, integrating the automation suite into the CI pipeline, and executing automation scripts on containerized environments. Additionally, they will handle client and team interactions, guide the team to resolve technical challenges, and proactively learn workflows and new technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in test automation, software development, and IT service management, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium Java
- Automate API testing based on project needs
- Integrate the automation suite into the CI pipeline
- Execute automation scripts on containerized environments
- Handle client and team interactions regarding the deliverables of the automation project
- Guide the team to resolve technical challenges faced during the project

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in test automation, software development, and IT service management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium Java
- Ability to automate API testing based on project needs
- Experience in integrating the automation suite into the CI pipeline
- Ability to execute automation scripts on containerized environments
