Senior Procurement Officer (Material)

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our material procurement efforts in Karachi, Pakistan. As a Senior Procurement Officer (Material), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely availability of materials to our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing Strategy:

  1. Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to procure materials at competitive prices.
  2. Negotiate with suppliers to improve services and reliability.
  3. Identify and establish relationships with new suppliers to enhance our sourcing capabilities.

Quality Control:

  1. Evaluate the quality of products supplied by vendors.
  2. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues related to Purchase Requests (PRs).
  3. Follow up on rejected materials with the concerned department.

Sourcing and Vendor Management:

  1. Conduct outdoor sourcing activities to identify potential suppliers.
  2. Assist the department head in vendor management and performance monitoring.
  3. Develop business cases for purchase decisions.
