VAT Strategist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Associate to join our team. As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and advice to clients on tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clients with up-to-date guidance and advice on tax laws and regulations.
• Ensure accurate account records and timely compliance with evolving regulations.
• Assist clients in understanding and meeting tax and compliance requirements.
• Develop and implement VAT strategies, policies, and procedures for clients.
• Execute VAT registration, VAT returns, and VAT refunds.
• Support corporate tax registration and assist the tax team in any requirements from the tax authority.
• Proactively interact with clients to address inquiries, concerns, and tax advisory matters.

Requirements:

• ACCA/ CA / CPA /CMA qualified or pursuing.
• Proficient in VAT and Tax Computations.
• 3-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an accounting firm.
• Excellent knowledge of Accounting standards.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Quality standards, quality assurance policy, and procedure.
• Proficient in English.
