Staff Tax Accountant

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in taxation, with expertise in preparing and filing income tax returns, sales tax returns, and withholding tax statements. Additionally, they will have excellent organizational skills, ensuring accurate documentation and timely compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file Income Tax Returns, Sales Tax Returns, and Withholding Tax Statements.
  • Respond to FBR notices and handle tax audits and correspondence.
  • Conduct sales tax reconciliations and manage purchase and sales records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-3 years of experience in taxation or a related field.
  • Proficiency in FBR IRIS, MS Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of Income Tax Ordinance 2001 and Sales Tax Act 1990.
