Strategic Corporate Finance Leader

Financial Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our financial reporting, governance, and corporate business partnering initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Finance Manager to join our team and contribute to shaping our financial strategy. The successful candidate will have strong commercial acumen, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial reporting and governance outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting:
   • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
   • Support the development of our overall commercial strategy and financial KPI targets.
   • Manage fixed assets, including leased assets under IFRS16, and ensure effective reporting.
   • Collaborate with internal/external auditors to facilitate timely and accurate reporting, address audit findings, and recommend solutions to strengthen our reporting framework.
   • Ongoing review of the Balance Sheet to ensure hygiene and timely clearing of aged items.
2. Governance and Controls:
   • Drive monthly Governance Forum discussions, including agenda setting, action item tracking, and leading discussions.
   • Manage the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOx) reporting process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and transparency in financial reporting.
   • Ensure adherence to internal controls in various areas of the business and self-assess compliance.
   • Lead risk assessment cycles to ensure adequate mitigations necessary to achieve overall business objectives.
   • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance compliance processes and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
3. Corporate Business Partnering:
   • Lead budgeting and monitoring of overhead costs for corporate functions, providing insights to Functional Heads.
   • Ensure efficient utilization of budgets through identification of optimization initiatives, in-depth analytical reviews, and actuals tracking.
   • Facilitate S&OP budget planning, including submissions for the current and prospective year.
   • Support and advise Corporate functions on policies, governance, and other finance queries.

• 6+ years Financial Reporting / Corporate Finance experience (FMCG industry experience is an advantage).
• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), CFA, Masters in Finance, MBA.
• Strong commercial acumen, understanding of business planning, and ability to drive meaningful change.
• Excellent leadership skills, ability to empower teams to thrive, and foster a culture aligned with our organization's values and vision.
• Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
