Job Description

We are seeking a skilled web designer and developer to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our brand's standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design capabilities, including web design, design system thinking, and developing web brand identity.

We require a goal-oriented and resourceful individual with proven experience (2-5 years) in creating designs that drive user conversion and push brands forward.

The successful candidate will be a team player who can work in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and can see the big picture.

They should be able to function with minimal supervision, take calculated risks, and continually improve and optimize user experience for our sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a scalable website structure using WordPress blocks and pages maintenance
  • Conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, graphically appealing, and brand-consistent websites and landing pages, as well as relevant banners and artworks for social media
  • Continually improve and optimize user experience for our sites
  • Contribute ideas and input that help solve usability challenges and deliver an excellent user experience
  • Maintain multiple websites and e-commerce platforms
  • Maintain and develop existing website built using WordPress
  • Create social media ad campaigns, Google ads, and email newsletters
  • Optimize website performance, including Core Web Vitals, desktop, and mobile speed
  • Server configuration, monitoring, and email creation
  • Manage WordPress plugins and implement A/B tests within the WordPress application

Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years of professional web development experience
  • WordPress custom theme/plugin development from scratch
  • Experience with website speed optimization / LCP
  • Strong understanding of WordPress theme customization and plugin development
  • Strong knowledge with WooCommerce and payment gateway integration from APIs
  • Ability to follow specifications, work independently, and have excellent follow-through skills
  • Critical thinker, attention to detail, and outstanding analytical skills
