The Recovery Officer position requires a unique blend of skills, expertise, and experience. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the recovery process forward, while ensuring the highest levels of compliance and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee Recovery Activities: Direct the smooth performance of recovery activities through allocated accounts, adhering to regulatory guidelines and KPIs.
  2. Drive Monthly Target Achievement: Lead efforts towards achieving monthly targets, contributing significantly to the organization's overall success.
  3. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to Regulatory/Fair Debt Collection Guidelines, guaranteeing compliance with established standards.
  4. Manage Communication and Updates: Execute all updates in CWX, ensuring seamless communication with customers via recorded lines, and maintaining Q-cards where required.
  5. Cultivate Timely Customer Engagement: Establish timely contact with customers to address outstanding liabilities and communicate regarding payment procedures.
  6. Customer Query Resolution and Escalation: Promptly respond to customer complaints and queries, routing them to supervisors as necessary using the escalation matrix.
  7. Litigation Support and Account Management: Forward accounts to litigation when bank-level negotiation is deemed improbable, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  8. Maintain Service Standards and Quality: Ensure service standards are upheld at an agreed level, as advised by guidelines.
  9. Drive Process Improvement and Efficiency: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, enhancing processes and services to optimize efficiency.
  10. System Update and Reporting: Comprehensively update recovery activity in the in-house collection system daily.
  11. Cultivate a Culture of Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Seek guidance from seniors as needed, embracing a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
  12. Embody Flexibility and Adaptability: Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
