Business Analyst - 18 Month Contract: A Key Role

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Mobile Apps Team for an 18-month contract. This role will cover parental leave and is based in Perth or Melbourne.

In this position, you will work closely with stakeholders and delivery squads to analyze existing business processes, identify needs, and drive solutions for improvement and efficiency.

  • Elicit business and customer needs through stakeholder discovery
  • Create and maintain requirements artifacts like Epics and User Stories
  • Identify risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
  • Facilitate interactions with the delivery team for solution planning and prioritization
  • Support Product Owners through discovery and delivery phases
  • Clarify requirements and manage defects, risks, and enhancements

This hands-on role requires expertise in analyzing business processes, products, and systems, as well as driving solutions for improvement. If you have commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and time management skills, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements
  • Experience in Business Analysis or similar, with technical analysis experience preferred
  • Proficiency in requirements elicitation and documentation
  • Experience with business, process, data, and workflow analysis, especially for mobile apps
  • Ability to break down work into manageable stories
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
  • Experience working within agile delivery frameworks
  • Workshop facilitation skills
