Accountant for Beverage Distribution

Candidates with expertise in financial management and a strong understanding of the beverage industry are sought after to oversee the accurate tracking of revenues, expenses, inventory, and other financial data associated with the distribution of Coca Cola products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Recordkeeping: Ensure precise tracking of financial data, including revenues, expenses, and inventory levels.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecast future revenues and expenses, and analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Tax Compliance: Verify that all applicable tax laws and regulations related to the distribution of Coca Cola products are adhered to.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, track supply chain logistics, and ensure sufficient inventory to meet demand.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns, and prepare regular financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Cost Control: Identify opportunities to control costs and improve profitability while maintaining quality standards for Coca Cola products.
Requirements:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required. Relevant certifications may be beneficial.
  • Experience: Several years of experience working in finance or accounting, preferably in the beverage industry, are preferred. Experience with financial and accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Financial Management: A deep understanding of financial management principles, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
    • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial recordkeeping and inventory management.
    • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and patterns.
    • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
    • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the beverage industry, particularly in distribution.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive problem-solving skills to identify and address financial issues.
    • Technology Skills: Familiarity with financial and accounting software and other technology tools commonly used in finance and accounting.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with financial and accounting software is highly desirable.
