Lead Ruby on Rails Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. As a Lead Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and maintainable Ruby on Rails applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on Ruby on Rails, and experience in leading teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex Ruby on Rails applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Lead a team of developers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in Ruby on Rails.

Requirements:

  • Five or more years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails.
  • Expertise in MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS is a bonus.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team in a fast-paced development environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in Ruby on Rails framework and MVC architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and web application security.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
