We are a dynamic team at Ropstam Solutions Inc. seeking a seasoned project manager to lead our development projects. This exciting opportunity involves developing, prioritizing, communicating, and managing project plans, roadmaps, and deliverables to drive successful outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates on development progress, quality standards, operations, and system performance to management.
  • Promote a collaborative culture of continuous improvement through guidance, feedback, and the use of metrics.
  • Foster innovation to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve objectives efficiently.
  • Lead and mentor team members to build a high-performing, cross-functional development team.
  • Oversee projects of varying sizes and scopes to meet organizational goals and compliance standards.
  • Manage support tasks by ensuring timely resolution of bugs and requests.
  • Define and enforce best practices for development, code reviews, QA processes, go-live protocols, release notes, and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals.
  • Utilize tools like JIRA, Asana, Trello, or Podio to manage tasks, enforce workflows, and maintain smooth operations in the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience, including managing eCommerce projects.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Full-Stack development with expertise in back-end platforms (e.g. PHP, Node).
  • Proven experience in developing and integrating service APIs for scalable applications.
  • Strong understanding of relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
  • Familiarity with virtualization and container technologies (e.g., Docker).
  • Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git or GitLab.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of Agile methodology and established release protocols.
  • Proven track record of shipping software and working in team-based software development environments.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced settings.
  • Ability to implement and adapt to emerging technologies to enhance customer-facing software solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical and business vision, coupled with analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in design, development, testing, and support, with a focus on understanding and addressing the business impacts of technical challenges.
