Job Summary

The ideal candidate will oversee the development of a process-driven workflow for sales and telemarketing, ensuring team performance metrics align with sales department goals.

Main Responsibilities

Telesales Operations:

  • Create effective call scripts to generate leads and qualify prospects.
  • Maintain accurate contact data in the database and update the customer relationship management system.
  • Develop and manage telesales teams, setting and meeting performance targets.
  • Monitor calls to improve quality, minimize errors, and track operative performance.

Team Management:

  • Establish team compensation structures and performance metrics.
  • Supervise telemarketers, providing guidance and support to meet sales targets.
  • Review staff performance, identify training needs, and plan training sessions.
  • Organize staffing, including shift patterns and staff requirements.

Campaign Execution:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to identify, define, and prioritize campaigns.
  • Provide regular conversion results, including calls-to-sales ratio.
  • Recommend campaigns based on timely events and analysis of previous successes.

Requirements:

  • A people person with excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • A hands-on team player, goal-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet tight deadlines, and train others in telesales or telemarketing functions.
  • Strong telesales planning and leadership skills, knowledge of sales best practices, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to present at senior level.
