We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Scientist to join our team in the Department of Food Science.
About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for a researcher with expertise in food science to work on a project focused on developing extruded snacks complemented with different pulses and their role in regulating metabolic syndrome in adults.
You will be responsible for conducting research, collecting data, analyzing results, and presenting findings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science and experience working on similar projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on food science topics related to extruded snacks and pulses
- Collect and analyze data from field and laboratory experiments
- Develop and implement research protocols
- Collaborate with other researchers and professionals to achieve project goals
- Present research findings through reports and presentations
Requirements
- Master's degree in Food Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in research and development in the food industry
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
