Job Summary:

Recovery Nurse Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Recovery Nurse to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patients' pre-operative recovery, ensuring smooth transitions between stages of care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless handovers and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
  • Perform cannulation, attach monitors, and manage fluid administration as required.
  • Verify patient dietary status and NPO times, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
  • Shift patients to OR and wards, following established protocols and ensuring proper handover to staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current RN licensure and CPR certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
