Mid-Senior Software Architect Role

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Senior Software Architect to join our team. This role involves overseeing the design and implementation of software systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and reliable.

About the Job:

  • The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and ReactJS, as well as experience with free and open-source web application frameworks like NextJS.

  • They will be responsible for gathering an up-to-date understanding of our code base technologies and industry trends, providing and sharing broad knowledge of technologies and architectures, and mentoring team members within their product stream.

  • This Mid-Senior level position requires collaboration with other Leads and Seniors to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical leadership and mentorship by setting challenging yet realistic goals and guiding team efforts towards successful project delivery.

  • Promoting company-wide coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.

  • Owning business KPIs as a conduit to our Product team and business functions.

  • Be accountable for the technical direction while ensuring decisions made daily align with our vision and direction.

  • Coach individuals in the team to become the next wave of technical leaders.

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of software engineering experience.

  • In-depth understanding of JavaScript and ReactJS.

  • In-depth understanding of free and open-source web application frameworks like NextJS.

  • Source code control, build process management, CI/CD, automated testing, and other development processes.

  • Knowledge of creating and architecting systems that are highly scalable and available.

  • Good understanding of leadership, coaching, and mentoring principles.

  • Experience working on high-traffic and large-scale web products is a plus.

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, and XP.

  • Understanding of good product, design, and UX principles.

  • Experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of next-generation web applications.
