Senior Manager Test Planning and Execution

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our organisation in a key leadership role.

  • This position will be responsible for developing, maintaining, innovating, and continually improving the Operational Resilience Testing Strategy and delivery roadmap, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business priorities.
  • The successful candidate will provide subject matter expertise to ensure planning and testing are rigorous, challenging, and aligned with current guidance.
  • This individual will support testing automation and explore opportunities to mature and simplify activities in line with best practice.
  • Responsibilities will include overseeing threat intelligence collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination at a Group level, supporting entity-level interpretation.
  • This role will involve maintaining and updating the Group High-Level Threat Register and supporting ad hoc threat assessments.
  • The Senior Manager will lead the maintenance and updating of the Group scenarios library.
  • This position will also support review, maintenance, and approval of the Group Testing Strategy, Plan & Framework.
  • The successful candidate will identify industry, cross-business, and geographical tests to enhance resilience, participating in engagements and driving outcomes.
  • This individual will develop and execute scenario testing plans for the Group and Important Group Business Services.
  • The Senior Manager will embed and sustain Operational Resilience scenario testing across the Group, acting as a trusted adviser and subject matter expert.
  • This role will involve analysing testing outcomes to drive insights that improve testing and resilience.
  • The successful candidate will lead monitoring and MI reporting on testing observations and actions.
  • This position will also support vulnerability management, regulatory engagement, audits, and supervisory reviews.
