Senior Mobile Application Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building high-quality mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.

This role requires proficiency in mobile app development best practices, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver seamless, performant, and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Work with UI/UX designers to implement modern and responsive mobile user interfaces.
  • Optimise applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
  • Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Assist in deployment processes for both Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (App Store).
  • Document development processes, architecture, and standards.
  • Work within Agile teams, actively participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mobile app development using React Native.
  • Experience in building and deploying apps for both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Familiarity with native mobile development (Java/Kotlin for Android and Swift/Objective-C for iOS) is a plus.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Knowledge of mobile app lifecycle, testing frameworks, and debugging tools.
  • Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for app deployment and backend integration is a bonus.
Skills:
  • React Native Development: Proficient in building mobile apps with React Native and React.js.
  • Cross-Platform Expertise: Ability to deliver apps that work seamlessly on both iOS and Android.
  • API Integration: Skilled in consuming RESTful APIs and handling data synchronization.
  • UI/UX Collaboration: Experience working with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional apps.
  • Performance Optimization: Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban.
