We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Islamabad.

About the Job

The ideal candidate should have experience with PHP, AngularJS, Git, SSH, and Linux. The job requires daily on-site availability to work with the team lead on ongoing development projects, including maintaining products by fixing bugs and helping resolve support queries.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate directly with the team lead on product development and maintenance.
  • Maintain our products efficiently by fixing bugs reported by support on a daily basis.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the team.
  • Show initiative and responsibility: the candidate should be able to handle tasks independently.
  • Maintain and optimize already built systems.
  • Develop and deploy new features.
  • Thoroughly test work before deployment.
  • Manage all deployment tasks on development and production servers.
Requirements
  • You must be highly detail-oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player mindset.
  • Ability to handle pressure and respond well in complex situations.
  • Ability to manage large codebases, review code, databases, and improve them.
  • A self-starter, ambitious, and eager to learn new tools and technologies.
Tools & Technologies

We use the following technologies:

  • PHP 5 & 7.
  • Popular PHP frameworks such as WordPress, Laravel, and CodeIgniter.
  • Front-end technologies like Bootstrap, Material UI, and Tailwind CSS.
  • TypeScript, React, and Vue.
  • Database development experience in MySQL and MongoDB.

You must also be familiar with:

  • Version control using Git/GitHub.
  • Agile development methodologies.
  • JIRA software.
  • SSH Shell and basic commands.
  • Operating Systems Windows or Mac.
  • Linux/Ubuntu.
