Enhance Water Accessibility for Urban Communities

This project aims to improve access to clean drinking water and environmental sanitation in urban settlements.

The target informal communities face significant challenges related to water scarcity, contamination, and infrastructure breakdowns. The project seeks to address these issues through the identification and implementation of locally appropriate, affordable, and sustainable technologies.

Key outcomes include improved access to clean drinking water and sanitation facilities at both the community and institutional levels.

A comprehensive evaluation will be conducted to assess the project's performance based on relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability.

  • Evaluate the project's achievement of desired outcomes.
  • Assess the project against established criteria.
  • Identify strengths, weaknesses, constraints, and challenges.

The consultant will produce high-quality reports with analysis and endline values.

Required skills and qualifications include expertise in evaluations and research related to WASH sector with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Key staff profiles should demonstrate relevant evaluation experience.

A strong background in producing assessment reports for international organizations is also essential.

Scope and Objectives:

  • Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the project.
  • Assess activity and outcome achievement.
  • Evaluate the project against key criteria.
  • Highlight lessons learned and best practices.

Deliverables:

  • An inception report outlining methodology, work plan, and timelines.
  • Data collection and analysis tools contextualized to the project.
  • Completed survey questionnaires, consent forms, and qualitative notes.
  • Raw and final datasets in electronic format.
  • High-quality final reports with analysis and endline values.
