Currency Risk Manager Job Description

This is a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned FX professional to join our team as a Currency Risk Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing foreign exchange strategies, optimising currency risk management, and enhancing profitability. Key responsibilities include monitoring market trends, assessing currency exposures, working closely with the treasury, finance, and trading teams, and ensuring effective FX management aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing foreign exchange strategies to optimise currency transactions and mitigate risks.
  • Monitoring global currency markets, economic trends, and geopolitical developments to identify FX opportunities.
  • Providing data-driven forecasts on exchange rate movements and recommending hedging strategies.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of currency markets, FX derivatives, and hedging techniques, proficiency in FX trading platforms, Bloomberg, Reuters, and financial modeling tools, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills, and strong communication skills to liaise with banks, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders.
