Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished software professional to join our team.

A senior software engineer plays a pivotal role in developing server applications, crafting Restful APIs, and ensuring their functionality, security, and performance meet design requirements. They collaborate with other team members to write code and unit tests, contributing to the success of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business needs and estimate assigned tasks
  • Write high-quality code and unit tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Tune code for enhanced security and performance, maintaining systems by resolving existing issues
  • Update issue tracking software, provide progress updates, and communicate with stakeholders
  • Control code versions, research new technologies, and lead a team of software engineers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 3-8 years of experience in Ruby on Rails and its frameworks
  • Extensive experience with common gems in the Ruby/Rails ecosystem, building large-scale production web applications with API interfaces
  • Strong understanding of the testing pyramid, comfortable implementing specs in each layer using RSpec framework
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies, strong SQL skills, and experience with CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and cloud technologies
