We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our mobile products.

Responsibilities:
  1. Mobile Application Development: Develop high-quality Android applications from concept to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams.
  2. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet user needs.
  3. Optimization and Performance: Focus on optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability, ensuring a superior user experience and robust system architecture.
  4. Code Quality and Standards: Ensure code quality and performance through unit testing, debugging, and optimization, maintaining best practices and standards.
  5. Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior developers by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  6. Code Reviews and Feedback: Actively participate in and contribute to comprehensive code reviews to maintain best practices and standards.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  2. Professional Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Android development, with expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK.
  3. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Android lifecycle components, MVVM architecture, and design patterns, with hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  4. Additional Skills: Proficiency in handling background services, threading, and concurrency, with familiarity with Jetpack libraries like Room, Navigation, and LiveData.
  5. Nice to Have: Experience with Android Jetpack Compose, Agile methodologies, and version control systems (Git), as well as prior experience working with speech-to-text models or other AI-based features.
