Our university seeks a motivated and enthusiastic educationist to fill the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Science.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of demonstrated excellence in research and teaching, with a strong background in their area of expertise. They should be able to deliver high-quality lectures, prepare engaging course materials, and evaluate students' performance effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Teaching: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering undergraduate and graduate courses, demonstrating effective communication and presentation skills, and designing and developing curriculum that meets the needs of our students.
  2. Research: We are seeking an individual with a strong research background and publication record, who is able to conduct original research and publish in reputable journals. Familiarity with research methodologies and statistical analysis is highly desirable.
  3. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  4. Service: The Assistant Professor will be expected to serve on departmental and university committees, participate in academic advising and mentoring, and contribute to the development of our academic programs.
  5. Leadership: We are looking for someone with the potential to take on leadership roles in the department or university, including leading research teams and collaborating with colleagues.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff. Familiarity with educational technology and online platforms is also highly desirable.
