Operation Room Technician/CSSD Technician Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operation Room Technician/CSSD Technician located in the country. The technician will be responsible for the application of sterile and aseptic techniques, disassembling, cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply sterile and aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety.
  • Disassemble, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Strong Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills.
  • Proficient in Analytical Skills and Electricity.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Certification as a Central Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, formal training in related field preferred.
