Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Solar Energy Manager to lead our installation team and ensure the successful completion of photovoltaic solar systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a crew of three to five installers at a time, providing guidance and training on all aspects of the job, including safety requirements.
  • Install, maintain, and repair the racking, panels, and stand-offs for photovoltaic solar systems, as well as the mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment.
  • Configure strings for solar arrays and run electrical DC wires to inverters, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Organize and maintain system components in warehouses, company trucks, and at job sites, documenting completion of installations and ensuring clean up of job sites.
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Solar Lead, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Solar Installer.
  • A strategic mindset, comfortable thinking ahead and making critical decisions to achieve goals.
  • Physical mobility of upper and lower body, with the ability to handle frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Willingness to work long hours when necessary and ability to lift 50 lbs of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a high level of professionalism and a positive demeanor.
