Network Manager Job Description

As a Network Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of data center and server farm provisioning and capacity planning. This includes developing and enforcing multi-site network security measures by regular assessments and risk analysis to improve network security from cyber threats.

You will maintain records and documentation of IT policies, SOPs, and network configurations. Additionally, you will monitor and troubleshoot server health issues, performance, and upgrade activities. Your responsibilities will also include planning and implementing backup and disaster recovery regularly.

Another key aspect of this role is scheduling improvements, modifications, or replacement of server applications in network infrastructure such as at head office and sites. You will install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot routers, gateways, firewalls, and other networking infrastructure such as surveillance cameras, DVR, and NVR.

Moreover, you will perform and innovate daily SLA-based helpdesk activities through phone calls/email/ticketing. You will oversee company IT assets/inventory tagging and reconciliation with the asset database.
