Job Description:

Durdana Waqar is seeking a highly skilled Backend Programmer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python and PHP and be able to design and develop new software programs and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop new software programs and applications, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  2. Plan and execute phases of the software development life cycle for various projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  3. Create software requirements and specifications documentation, accurately capturing user needs and expectations.
  4. Conduct research and document user requirements for software, staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies.
  5. Stay current with industry developments, recommending and implementing software improvements and upgrades as necessary.
  6. Write and test software programs to meet specifications, ensuring error-free code and optimal performance.
  7. Enhance the functionality and appearance of our website and web applications, removing unnecessary code and debugging errors.
  8. Generate reports on programming progress and statistics, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
  9. Collaborate with teams to resolve software issues and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Strong technical knowledge of Python, PHP, and related frameworks.
  2. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms AWS and Azure.
  3. Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and their respective environments.
  4. Experience with popular databases MySQL, MS SQL, and Postgres.
  5. Proven software troubleshooting skills, with a focus on efficient problem-solving and resolution.
  6. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools, ensuring seamless deployment and integration.
