Senior Mobile Application Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Application Developer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has extensive experience working with React Native and wants to contribute their expertise to the development of mobile applications for clients.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native, as well as 4+ years of professional software development experience. Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java is a plus but not required.

A key requirement for this role is the ability to take ownership of your work and perform at a high level each day. You should also be able to identify with the goals of our clients and dedicate yourself to delivering on the commitments you make to them.

In addition to these skills, we are looking for someone who has an understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them. The ability to work through new and difficult issues, contribute to libraries as needed, and create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications is also essential.

Other important qualities include a positive mindset, a can-do attitude, and forensic attention to detail. English skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken English) are also crucial.

About the Role

As a Senior Mobile Application Developer, you will work as part of a small team to build React Native iOS / Android applications for our clients.

Your responsibilities will include architecting, building, and maintaining excellent React Native applications with clean code, implementing pixel-perfect UI's that match designs, implementing clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience, integrating third-party API's, writing unit and integration tests, releasing applications to IOS and Google Play stores, and working with native modules when required.

You will also be expected to participate in sprint retrospectives and daily standups, assist with building estimates, interface with clients via Slack, Zoom, and email, track your time throughout the day using Toggle, and work with modern tools including Jira, Slack, GitHub, Google Docs, etc.
