The role of a Solution Architect - Azure encompasses designing and implementing highly available solutions on the Azure cloud. As part of the Enterprise Architecture team, you will be responsible for end-to-end solution design, with a comprehensive understanding of architecture facets: Application, Data, Security, Infrastructure & Business.

This involves shaping Azure solutions, focusing on Azure PaaS, containerization, and API Management, ensuring solutions are robust, cost-effective, secure, and scalable. You will translate business and technical requirements into architecture artifacts to support development and testing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver cloud migration projects.
  • Design architectural layers for programs, emphasizing Infrastructure, Application, Data, Security, and Business Architecture.
  • Participate in architecture governance and review processes.
  • Develop business cases and RFPs.
  • Maintain the Enterprise Repository with architecture updates.

You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with various stakeholders. Your expertise should include knowledge of programming languages like C#, Node.js, Java, and experience designing mobile solutions. Additionally, you should have strong expertise in Azure services like Container Apps, CosmosDB, Service Bus, Blob Storage, SQL Server, Entra ID, VNets, WAF, Redis, Event Grid, API Management, and DevOps.

Required Skills
  • Experience designing highly available solutions on Azure cloud.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like C#, Node.js, Java.
  • Experience in mobile solution design.
  • Strong expertise in Azure services like Container Apps, CosmosDB, Service Bus, Blob Storage, SQL Server, Entra ID, VNets, WAF, Redis, Event Grid, API Management, and DevOps.
  • Experience with APIs, Microservices, performance, and security.

A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of AWS (nice to have). Experience with EA tools like Hopex, Ardoq, iServer, Abacus is also a plus.
