We are seeking a visionary educational leader to serve as the Principal of our Primary School. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting high standards of evidence-based learning and teaching, while fostering a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and continuous learning within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promoting academic excellence by monitoring school progress across key performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to recruit, retain, and develop high-quality teachers who are passionate about making a positive impact on their students' lives.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning, respect, and collaboration among all members of the school community, including teachers, students, staff, and parents.
Academic Responsibilities:
  • Recruiting and selecting high-caliber teachers through a rigorous selection process.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive school improvement plan based on thorough needs analysis and ensuring its effective implementation within the school.
  • Monitoring classroom quality through lesson planners and formal/informal classroom observations to ensure that students receive the highest standard of education.
  • Providing ongoing professional development opportunities for teachers through demo sessions, constant feedback, and on-the-job training.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student performance by re-checking student work and test papers according to established policies.
  • Organizing, managing, and supervising co-curricular activities, timetables, assemblies, displays, libraries, laboratories, and the use of academic resources to ensure a well-rounded education for students.
  • Attending training sessions and conducting on-the-job training for faculty members within the school to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conducting term tests and examinations in a transparent, fair, and timely manner.
  • Buidling a positive team spirit among teachers and motivating them to excel in their roles.
Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Establishing strong relationships with the local community and creating awareness about the importance of education for both boys and girls, encouraging them to enroll in our schools.
  • Maintaining an optimal student enrollment level within the school through effective implementation of recruitment strategies.
  • Cultivating and maintaining a pool of qualified teachers by actively engaging with Area and Regional HR teams for staffing, performance management, and other HR-related matters.
  • Coordinating with the supervisor for board-related matters and ensuring the smooth operation of the school.
  • Ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of school buildings and premises.
  • Managing utility services efficiently and effectively.
