Strategic Media Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Planner to join our team.

This role involves being responsible for all tasks and client service activities associated with an assigned brand/account. The successful candidate will be the steward of the communications planning process, providing pillars for media plans, executing plan changes, and maintaining media plans.

This role reports to the Business Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining media plans that meet the needs of the business.
  • Assisting Senior Media Planners in devising strategy for the brand.
  • Reviewing and updating purchase orders within the execution framework.
  • Ensuring all campaign efficiencies are achieved by analyzing campaigns and recommending tactical changes to maximize campaign performance.
  • Interacting with media suppliers to work on upcoming opportunities.
  • Preparing and updating media reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Presenting plans both internally and externally.
  • Monitoring client billing.
  • Supervising Assistant Media Planners in creating, updating, and executing media plans.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and numeracy skills, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in MS Excel is also required. Additionally, excellent interpersonal skills, respect for hierarchy, and personal/organizational management are essential.
